Student access to school and district-approved digital resources is provided through Classlink, our single-sign-on digital portal. Media Center
Each school has a Media Center and a Media Specialist. Students have access to print and digital books through the Media Center. Digital resources, are available to students through apps Classlink. During visits to the Media Center, students also learn library and computer science standards.
Jefferson County Schools Library Collection Policy
In accordance with Tennessee State Library Bill SB2247/HB2666 each school’s library collection can be viewed through the open access catalog linked below. The mission of the Jefferson County Schools Library Media Centers is to ensure that the highest quality materials are selected to meet curricular and independent reading needs of our patrons.

Parent & Student Rights
Chapter 644 of the Public Acts of 2016 requires the department to annually compile a list of state laws related to the rights of students and their parents or legal guardians. This document includes a summary of the state laws that provide explicit rights to parents, legal guardians, or students and does not include all the legal protections and privileges afforded to students and their parents or legal guardians.
Duplicate Diploma & Education Verification
The Tennessee Department of Education processes requests for duplicate diplomas and education verification for students who have attended a Tennessee public high school. Information on the request process and a link to the online system can be found on the department’s Duplicate Diploma and Education Verification webpage.
Transcript Request
Through OrderaTranscript.com, parents or students that are 18+ can order official transcripts to be sent to academic institutions across the U.S. as well as to hundreds of scholarship organizations, certifying bodies, and other entities.

School Counselor
Elementary school counselors provide classroom instruction in each classroom once per week (edit this if necessary.
Appointments may be made through the school office during school hours.
