Students who choose to enroll in summer school should submit a registration form by Friday, May 10, 2024.

JCHS Students not earning a passing grade of 60 in a course may plan to recover credits for courses that are required for graduation. Summer school credit recovery is offered for certain core courses in which students earn final grades between 50 and 59. To make satisfactory progress toward meeting graduation requirements, it is strongly recommended that your child attend summer school to recover his/her credit. Students who failed a course but did not earn a final average of at least 50 will not be eligible for credit recovery or summer school and will be required to retake the entire course.

Summer School will be held at Patriot Academy. Freshman students will report to the cafeteria, and all others will report to the gym, Tuesday, June 4, 8:00. Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors may ride a bus from your local middle school to Patriot Academy in the mornings (June 4-26) but will need to provide their own transportation home at 11:30. Please fill out the bus portion of this form if you need bus transportation to get to summer school. Include your name and address.
