Jefferson County High School WILL be having our Fall Formal on Saturday, November 23 from 7-10pm at JCHS.

Tickets can be purchased during lunch the week prior to the event.

If you plan on bringing a guest that does not attend school at JCHS, then you will need to fill out the Dance Guest Permission Form and return to the main office at either campus. 

FALL FORMAL 2024

GUIDELINES & DRESS CODES

For everyone who attends: ALL SCHOOL RULES—AND THESE GUIDELINES—APPLY FROM THE TIME YOU ARRIVE IN THE SCHOOL PARKING LOT UNTIL THE TIME YOU LEAVE THE PARKING LOT.

Once you arrive on the JCHS campus for Fall Formal, you must IMMEDIATELY come into the school. No loitering in cars in the parking lot or standing around outside. Security WILL be enforcing this.

Once you leave Fall Formal, you will NOT be allowed back in. You will have to leave campus immediately—no loitering (“hanging out”) in the parking lot.

  • The dress code for Fall Formal is SEMI-FORMAL, and will be strictly enforced. The following is the dress code that will be expected:
  • GENTLEMEN
    • Dress shirt, dress pants with dress shoes, dress socks, with appropriate and neckties. .
    • No baseball hats.
    • Shirts must stay on and buttoned at all times.
    • NO TENNIS SHOES, WORK BOOTS, DENIM JEANS, OR CASUAL "FLIP FLOPS."
  • LADIES
    • Formal or semi-formal with appropriate footwear.
    • Pant suits/dress slacks are acceptable.
    • Clothing should not be overly revealing. 
    • NO TENNIS SHOES, WORK BOOTS, DENIM JEANS, OR CASUAL "FLIP FLOPS."

If the administration of JCHS feels that anyone is not meeting the above dress code, that person will NOT be allowed into the Fall Formal, and they will NOT have the cost of their ticket refunded.
