Join us for a School Safety Forum at the JCHS Performing Arts Center on Tuesday, Aug. 13th at 5:30 pm.
This is an opportunity for parents to learn about safety measures taken to increase student safety, hear from the Sheriff's Department, and meet some of our School Resource Officers.

Community meeting to discuss and recognize school safety in Jefferson County
We are excited to announce Jefferson County Schools second annual School Safety Forum. This event will be held Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. in the James D. Swann Performing Arts Center at Jefferson County High School.
Speakers will consist of members of Jefferson County Schools, Jefferson County Sheriff's office, additional emergency management, and introduction of Schol Resource Officers.
Topics will consist of:
- Trainings conducted by Sheriff’s Department this summer
