Jefferson County Schools recently hosted another successful Super Saturday Science Event at Jefferson County High School, where learning, curiosity, and fun were on full display for participating 4th and 5th grade students.

The event was organized and led by Haley Gentry, biology teacher at Jefferson County High School and a dedicated teacher leader. Through her leadership and vision, Super Saturday Science once again provided an engaging, hands‑on learning experience that sparked excitement for the sciences.

Members of the Science National Honor Society (SNHS) worked diligently to prepare and present a dynamic science magic show, designed to capture students’ attention while introducing key scientific concepts. Following the demonstrations, students had the opportunity to actively participate by completing several experiments themselves, reinforcing learning through exploration and discovery.

Thanks to Haley Gentry’s leadership and the commitment of the Science National Honor Society, a memorable morning of learning and inspiration was made possible.
