Important information for Traditional and Distance Learners regarding TNReady and EOC Exams.

TN Ready testing scheduled for Monday, November 30 has been moved to Tuesday, December 1. 

  • Traditional/In-Person students enrolled in English 10 at the JCHS Main Campus and Traditional/In-Person and Distance Learners enrolled in World History on the JCHS Patriot Academy will begin testing on Tuesday, December 1. 
  • Students should check with their teachers and canvas for assessment review information.  
  • JCHS will be adding additional testing rooms, proctors, test administrators and will adhere to COVID-19 Jefferson County Schools precautions.
  • The Tennessee Department of Education requires that all students enrolled in Tennessee Public School Courses: Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, English 9, English 10, Biology, Dual Credit United States History, Dual Credit World History complete the TN Ready exams. 
  • Distance learners enrolled in English 10 will take their TN Ready exam the week of December 7-11. 
  • Additional information for all students will be provided on Monday. Please contact your child's teachers for questions or concerns.    

Tuesday, December 1

English 10

  • All in-person students enrolled in English 10 for Fall 2020 on JCHS Main Campus should report for testing.
  • Students should arrive no later than 7:45
  • Buses will run as normal
  • Students will stay the entire school day to complete each part of testing
  • Breakfast and lunch will be served

Dual Credit World History (In-Person & Distance Learners)

  • All in-person/distance learning students enrolled in Dual Credit World. The Tennessee Board of Regents requires each test taker to participate within the window. Therefore, in-person and distance learners will take the exam on Tuesday, December 1. 
  • Students should arrive no later than 7:45
  • Buses will run as normal
  • Students will be dismissed at 10:30AM, unless they choose to stay the entire school day
  • Students that wish to stay the entire school day, after testing is complete in-person students will rotate through an abbreviated bell schedule to see each teacher.
  • Distance learners will be dismissed at 10:30 AM.
  • Breakfast and lunch will be served
