Construction continues to move forward on the new Agriculture Building at Jefferson County High School, bringing an exciting hands‑on learning space one step closer to completion for students interested in agriculture and related careers.

As shown in the most recent photos from campus, the building’s concrete foundation has been poured and framing is well underway. Wooden support posts and roof trusses are now in place, clearly outlining the footprint and structure of the future facility. With the framing rising above the foundation, the building is becoming a prominent and visible addition to the school grounds.

This project has been strongly supported by Board Chairman Joshua Cameron, who has been a major proponent of expanding agricultural education opportunities for Jefferson County students. The Agriculture Building will provide dedicated space for instruction, projects, and skill‑based learning aligned with the county’s strong agricultural roots.

As construction progresses from structural framing toward enclosure and interior work, the district looks forward to sharing additional updates as this important educational investment continues to take shape.
